CLIENTLOGIC TO MANAGE CALL CENTERS FOR BRITISH COMPANY

ClientLogic has signed a deal with a British Telecom subsidiary that will boost its presence in Europe's call center industry.

Under the deal, ClientLogic will manage four customer contact centers for BT Syncordia Solutions, a network and information technology solutions company.

Based in Nashville, ClientLogic was founded in Buffalo as Softbank Services Group. The customer service contractor was purchased by Onex Corp. in Toronto in 1998.

The deal with Syncordia will increase ClientLogic's European presence by 1,700 "seats" or workstations, according to a statement from Onex.

As part of the alliance, Syncordia will supply ClientLogic's European call centers with technology and network infrastructure. It will also incorporate the U.S. company's customer contact, database marketing and order fulfillment services into its own service offers.
