Alma G. Baumler, 94, a Buffalo native, died Friday (Feb. 9, 2001) in St. Francis Nursing Home, Williamsville.

The former Alma G. Gebhardt graduated from Masten Fosdick High School in 1922 and Bryant & Stratton in 1924.

Mrs. Baumler worked as a secretary for the Richard L. Wood Insurance Agency. She later became a licensed insurance broker. In 1926, she married Raymond J. Baumler.

Mrs. Baumler served as president of the Nazareth Nursing Home Guild and the Sultanas of the Knights of Columbus.

Her husband died in 1968.

She is survived by a daughter, Marjorie Edwards of Williamsville; two sons, Raymond of Rochester and Dr. Robert of Amherst; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday in Christ the King Catholic Church, 30 Lamarck Drive, Snyder. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
