Services for Margaret Frantz Wohlhueter, 90, of the Town of Milford, Wis., retired Colden teacher, will be held April 28 in Colden, with time and place to be announced. Burial will be in Colden Cemetery.
Mrs. Wohlhueter, who was born in Colden, died Dec. 29, 2000, in Watertown Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin.
She was a graduate of the Griffith Institute in Springville and graduated from Normal School in Geneseo, now known as Geneseo State College. She taught kindergarten and second-grade in the Town of Boston, and later second-grade in Colden, retiring in 1975.
Mrs. Wohlhueter moved from Orchard Park to Milford in March 1999 to make her home with her daughter, Bonita Fredel. At the time of her death, she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Lake Mills, Wis. She had been a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Colden for many years. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Seneca, where she played piano for midweek services and was involved in record keeping and other church activities.
Her husband, Clayton L. Wohlhueter, died in 1967.
In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a son, David of Ithaca; a sister, Marion Hoch of Snyder; a brother, Arnold Frantz of Colden; and five grandchildren.
