Jack M. Grenier, 69, of Cheektowaga, a retired presser, died Thursday (Feb. 8, 2001) in Brothers of Mercy Nursing and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness.
A Buffalo native, Grenier worked as a presser for Intercontinental Branded Apparel, formerly M. Wile, for about 20 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and the Holy Name Society of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking and games of chance.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Theresa M. O'Connor; a daughter, Renee Geraci of Buffalo; and a son, Jeffrey of Cheektowaga.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 4125 Union Road, Cheektowaga. Burial will be private.
