GROVER TOPS BENNETT IN OT

Ernest Brown (19 points, 20 rebounds) and Eric Rawls (20 points) combined for 10 points in overtime as Grover Cleveland beat Bennett, 84-76, in Yale Cup basketball Thursday.

Reggie Davis made three foul shots to force OT. Branden Rutledge led Bennett with 26 points. . . .

Duriel Price made 8 of 10 free throws and finished with 30 points (six shy of 1,000) as Hutch-Tech beat South Park, 65-60. Paul Jordan led the Sparks with 22 points. . . . Greg French had 27 points, giving him 1,793 in his career, along with 12 assists and six steals as Traditional beat Burgard, 97-62. Terry George led the Bulls (16-2, 11-0) with 30 points and Daryl Jacobs added 15 points, 12 rebounds and 13 blocks. . . .

Aaron Groover's jumper with 2:31 left gave McKinley the lead for good in a 58-53 decision over Kensington. Groover finished with 13 points and 12 rebounds while Therreon Blackwell finished with 15 points. Wayne Vance had 24 for the Knights, who jumped to a 15-5 lead after the first quarter. . . . Dawan Stroud had 23 points and Ameer Drake added 19 points and 10 boards as Seneca overcame a five-point halftime deficit and beat City Honors, 75-57. . . .

Tocory Redden (27 points), Jeff Pruitt (21 points) and Derrick Ware (12 assists) led Lafayette to a 93-70 win over Emerson. . . . Edmund Rainey had 28 points and freshman Sherrod Bennard added 16 points and 11 assists for Riverside in a 99-50 win over Buffalo Arts.

ECIC I: Gordon Gronkowski had 20 points and Adam Fatzinger 18 as Williamsville North beat Clarence, 67-52.

ECIC II: Adam Gioia had 23 points and Sam Gioia added 14 as West Seneca West handled Lake Shore, 76-55. Nick Carrow added 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Indians. Adam Buczak tossed in 14 for the Eagles.

Niagara Frontier League: Mike Miranto had 17 points and 10 rebounds as North Tonawanda beat Kenmore West, 48-37. Ryan Kennedy added 13 points and Mike Milne had 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Niagara-Orleans: Aaron Otto had 13 points and 13 rebounds as Newfane outscored Albion, 16-7, in the third quarter on its way to a 43-38 win.

CCIAC I: Greg McCray scored 12 of his 16 in the second quarter and Matt Lipinczyk finished with 22 points as Southwestern beat Gowanda, 66-53.

CCIAC II: Matt Mazurek had a career-high 30 points with 11 rebounds and 10 assists as Silver Creek beat Westfield, 73-59. . . . David Bocciolatt had 18 points and seven assists as Randolph beat Cattaraugus, 58-30. The Cardinals held the Big Red to one point in the third quarter. . . . Matt Aman had 26 points as Frewsburg got past Chautauqua Lake, 60-57.

CCIAC III: Jordan Bennink had a season-high 28 points and A.J. Malecki added 12 for Clymer in a 63-48 win over Pine Valley. Dan Smith and Zack Colvin had 16 each for Pine Valley. . . . Jake Shields had 21 points and Josh Lewis 12 for Panama in a 53-42 decision over Forestville. Ron Duliba had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Hornets.

IAC: Dominic Currie-Bishop had 32 points and Jason Moore added a career-high 21 as Park beat St. Mary's School for the Deaf, 71-61.
