Alma Muriel Schug, 81, a Terrace Drive resident, died Tuesday (Feb. 6, 2001) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness.
Born Alma Laubocker in Niagara Falls, she was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
She taught sewing and quilting for many years and also organized and managed many estate sales in the Niagara Falls area.
Mrs. Schug was an active member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and Calvary Lutheran Church.
She was a volunteer at Mount St. Mary's Hospital for many years.
Her husband, Edward F., died in 1978.
Survivors include two sons, Roger E. of Niagara Falls and Charles A. of Lewiston; a daughter, Nancy S. Roehre of Greensboro, N.C.; a sister, Mildred L. Masterman of Niagara Falls; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 8:30 p.m. Friday in Otto Redanz Funeral Home, 2215 Military Road. Burial will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Lewiston.
