Numerous DJs and spin artists will participate in the annual Local Emcee Showcase at 10 p.m. in Broadway Joe's, 3051 Main St.

The Da Capo Saxophone Quartet will perform on the Informally Formal Chamber Concert Series at 7:30 p.m. in the Montante Cultural Center at Canisius College, Main Street at Eastwood Place.

The Moviestars Parade screening series will continue at 7 p.m. in the Arts Council for Wyoming County Screening Room, 31 S. Main St., Perry. Featured films will be "Body and Soul" (1925), starring Paul Robeson, and "The Show Off" (1926), starring Ford Serling and Louise Brooks.

The International Women's Film Festival will present a 7 p.m. screening of "Ratcatcher" (Scotland, 1999) by Lynne Ramsey in the Market Arcade Film and Arts Centre, 639 Main St.

"Travels With a Camera," by photographer Thomas A. Wolf, will begin at 2:30 p.m. in Canisius College, 2001 Main St.

"Juveniles on Death Row: Photo-Journalism and Commentary," an illustrated lecture by photographer Toshi Kazama, will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the Castellani Art Museum, Niagara University Main Campus, Niagara Falls.

"How Sweet It Is," a lecture by Bob Pacer from Oliver's Candies, speaking on the story and the candy factory's history, will be presented at 7:30 p.m. by the Newstead Historical Society in Newstead Town Hall, 57 John St., Akron.

"James Fenimore Cooper's "The Last of the Mohicans,' " a slide program with Michael J. Pikus, focusing on numerous early America themes and the influence of the Natty Bumpo character in subsequent American literature, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Youngstown Free Library, 240 Lockport St., Youngstown.
