I am appalled. Assisted suicide is illegal in the United States. So what gives Timothy McVeigh the right to know where, when and how he will die? This right was not allotted to the hundreds of men, women and children he killed in Oklahoma City.
I believe the death penalty is too good for McVeigh. Put him in the prison's general population, and let him take his chances. I used to be in favor of the death penalty, but definitely not in this case. What closure will the families of the many people he killed and injured have from this easy and quick end? Why do criminals have more rights than law-abiding citizens?
