SKATING PARTY -- The Assumption Catholic Church Youth Group is sponsoring a roller-skating party to raise money for the Bryan Lawrence Fund.
The event is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday in Depew Roller Skating Center on Transit Road. Admission to the party is $7, with rentals available. All of the profits will go to fund experimental medical treatment for Bryan Lawrence, a Buffalo youth who is suffering from a brain tumor. . . .
EUCHRE TOURNEY -- The third annual Living Opportunities of De Paul Benefit Euchre Tournament will be held from noon to 6 p.m. March 4 in Whistlestop Inn, 1338 Exchange St., Alden. Admission is $25 per person and includes a buffet lunch and beverages. Prizes for tournament winners are $300 for first place, $100 for second and $50 for third.
Players can register in advance by sending a registration form along with a check, made out to Living Opportunities of De Paul, to Kellly Landahl, Alleghany House, 10814 Alleghany Road, Darien Center, N.Y. 14040.
Payment at the door on the day of the tournament and walk-ins will be accepted. Registrants must sign up in teams of two; because there must be an even number of teams, participation for the last walk-in team may not be possible. Call Landahl at 547-3520 for information. . . .
