Mayor Anthony M. Masiello has announced the release of applications for the fifth round of his neighborhood matching fund, a program that supports community beautification programs by matching a group's cash contributions.

Applications are available by calling 851-5056 or from community-based organizations that have scheduled technical assistance workshops for interested applicants.

The schedule of district workshops is as follows:

Delaware, 6:30 p.m. Thursday, North Buffalo Community Center, 203 Sanders Road; Ellicott, 5 p.m. Feb. 15, Ellicott District Community Development Center, 644 William St.; Fillmore, 7 p.m. Feb. 13, Old First Ward Community Center, 62 Republic St.; Lovejoy, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22, Lovejoy District Neighborhood Services, 615 Walden Ave.

Also, Masten, 6 p.m. Feb. 21, FLARE, 307 Leroy Ave.; Niagara, 10:30 a.m. Feb. 17, Allentown Association, 234 Allen St.; North, 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26, Northwest Buffalo Community Center, 155 Lawn Ave.; South, 6 p.m. today, 1937 South Park Ave.; and University, 6 p.m., Feb. 20, Gloria J. Parks Community Center, 3242 Main St.
