PENNY J. HODNETT

A service for Penny J. Hodnett, a cashier at Wal-Mart in Springville, was held today in W.S. Davis Funeral Home, Arcade.

Mrs. Hodnett, 42, died in a three-vehicle accident Friday (Feb. 2, 2001) in the Town of Machias.

A resident of Delevan, the former Penny Cuddy previously worked at Delevan Head Start, the Allegany Rehab Center and the Shurfine Store in Arcade.

She is survived by her husband, Melvin K.; a son, Thomas Putt of Arcade; a daughter, Kimberly Putt of Arcade; a stepson, Michael Hodnett of Columbia, Md.; her parents, Eugene and Maryann Cuddy of Olean; two brothers, Gary Cuddy of Olean and Dan Cuddy of Allegany; three sisters, Linda Mattern of Olean, Mary Davies of Great Valley and Jean Tillinghast of Machias; and a grandmother, Marion Cuddy of Williamsport, Pa.
