NO. 1S HOLY ANGELS, TIMON/ST. JUDE WIN

No. 1-ranked small school Holy Angels made it a sweep of the regular-season series against No. 2-ranked Nardin Academy on Sunday, defeating the Gators, 61-45, to improve to 10-0 in Msgr. Martin Athletic Association girls play.

Jamie Donnelly led Holy Angels with 14 points and 10 assists.

Timon/St. Jude, the No. 1 ranked boys team, defeated St. Mary's of Lancaster, 78-58. Joe Mihalics made five three-pointers in the second and third quarters on his way to a 20-point game.

Corey Herring had 19 points, Charlie Comerford 14 with 10 rebounds and Fran Snyder chipped in with nine.
