Linda Joy Fox of Canandaigua, whose physician husband teaches at the University at Buffalo, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 2001) in F.F. Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua, after suffering from heart disease for more than eight years. She was 47.
Her husband, Dr. Chester H. Fox, is a professor of clinical family medicine.
Born Linda Bond in Peekskill, she earned her nursing degree from St. Louis University. She was home-schooling the couple's daughter, Rachel.
Survivors also include her parents, Marilyn and George Bond; a sister, Helen Johnson; and a brother, Brian Bond.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Wesleyan Church of Canandaigua. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canandaigua.
