A senior management team at Batavia Metal Products Corp. has bought a majority of the manufacturer's stock and has named Arnold Keller as president.
Mitchell Strong, the company's former president, will remain a key stockholder in the position of director of business development, company officials said. The company's sales tripled since 1993 with Strong as president.
The 78-year-old company, which employs 200 people, makes machine forgings and castings, stampings, weldments and other components for heavy-duty applications such as trucks, construction equipment, and material handling equipment.
The company plans to expand into a larger location later this year and is aiming to double its sales over the next three years.
