Pianist Barry Snyder, winner of three major prizes in the 1966 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition, will perform for Amherst Symphony Orchestra Women's Committee at a luncheon and concert preview Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. in Amherst Center for Senior Services. Snyder, professor of piano in University of Rochester's Eastman School of Music, will be guest soloist at the Amherst orchestra's Feb. 18 concert. Susan Roth is taking luncheon reservations. Diane Geiger, cellist, and Aaron Stabell, percussionist, will perform at a coffee for Women's Committee of Orchard Park Symphony Orchestra, Thursday at 10 a.m. in Orchard Park Presbyterian Church. The musicians, winners of the committee's scholarship, will appear in the orchestra's Youth Concert Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Orchard Park Middle School. Plans for International Badge Day March 5 will be made at a meeting of Greater Buffalo Alumnae Panhellenic Council Wednesday at noon in Plaka Restaurant, Kenmore. On March 5, members will wear the badges or letters of their sororities in a public display of their Greek affiliations. West Seneca Woman's Club will hear Patrick Sgroi give a talk on finances Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Post 735 American Legion clubrooms, West Seneca. Members will vote on charity nominations.
