Joann Gwizdowski, 48, of the Town of Tonawanda, a former head cashier, died Thursday (Feb. 1, 2001) in Millard Fillmore Hospital after a lengthy illness.
The lifelong Tonawanda resident was a graduate of Annunciation High School. She was a head cashier for Liberty Bank during the 1970s.
Survivors include her husband of 27 years, William C. Gwizdowski; two daughters, Julie of Portland, Ore., and Jennifer of Buffalo; a son, Eric C. of West Seneca; her mother, Jeanette Nizzaro of Amherst; three sisters, Antoinette Crapo of Lockport, Maria Koniarczyk of Amherst and Diane Shepherd of Buffalo; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Blessed Sacrament Church, 263 Claremont Ave., Town of Tonawanda.
