GIULIANI SHOULD SUSPEND FUNDING FOR ART MUSEUM

Three cheers for New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. A politician who does and says what he believes to be proper, in spite of the wails of the Civil Liberties Union, is unique. The government (taxpayers) should not be expected to subsidize the so-called art exhibit, "Sensation: Young British Artists from the Saatchi Collection," at the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

I believe this exhibit has a limited audience. The fans of such works should be expected to fund them. Those of us who have no interest in such tasteless trash do not wish to contribute.
