TWO INJURED IN COLLISION

Two persons were injured Tuesday when their vehicle was hit from behind and pushed into a fence along Route 60, Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies said.

The accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m., as a northbound vehicle driven by Sara G. Aldrich was attempting to turn left into the 84 Lumber parking lot, deputies said. A vehicle behind her, driven by Barbara L. Mosher, failed to stop in time and hit Aldrich's vehicle from the rear, pushing it into the fence on the property.

Aldrich and a passenger in her vehicle, Jennifer Stuczynski, were taken to Brooks Memorial Hospital, deputies said. The extent of their injuries was not disclosed.

Mosher was cited for following too close.
