Cecelia E. Bielak, 90, a former seamstress and lifelong Medina resident, died Monday (Sept. 27, 1999) in Medina Memorial Hospital.
The former Cecelia Cichocki was born in Albion and had recently lived on Eagle Street.
Her husband, Edward J., who was known as Whitey, died in 1996. They had both been lifelong communicants of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Mrs. Bielak was employed by the H.J. Heinz Company and had worked as a seamstress for a few years at the Robert H. Newell Company.
She enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Survivors include a son, Richard E.; a daughter, Barbara Jablonski; two sisters, Veronica "Dolly" Stucko and Victoria White; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 208 Ann St., following prayers at 9:45 in Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center St. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
