The Buffalo Blizzard will open its eighth training camp on Tuesday at the Sportsplex in North Tonawanda. Coach George Fernandez expects to have approximately 25 players in camp next week, with sessions scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. next Tuesday through Friday.

Buffalo opens its National Professional Soccer League season Oct. 30 in Harrisburg, Pa., and the home opener is Nov. 5 at Marine Midland Arena against Montreal.

Rookie head coach Ted Sawicki's Buffalo Bandits are scheduled to open training camp Nov. 20 in Grimsby, Ont. The Bandits open their 2000 National Lacrosse League season in the MMA against the defending champion Toronto Rock on Jan. 8.
