Sylvia A. Nalbone, 61, who worked for many years as a cook and waitress at Page's Restaurant, died Sunday (Sept. 26, 1999) in her home on Porter Road after a sudden illness.

The former Sylvia Pitonyak was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools.

Mrs. Nalbone worked at Page's Restaurant until 1995, when she retired because of illness.

She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres. In addition, she enjoyed watching golf.

Survivors include a son, Joseph of Wilson; a daughter, Linda Granto; a brother, Francis "Butch" of Niagara Falls; and three grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 1401 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls, following prayers at 10 in Spallino-Amigone Funeral Home, 1300 Pine Ave., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
