En route to St. Lucia are J.C. Hogarth de la Plante and his bride, Mary Lou Tarquini, who were married Saturday at 4 p.m. in Christ the King Chapel at Canisius College. The Rev. Thomas A. O'Connor of the college performed the ceremony. A reception was given in Samuel's Grande Manor for the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pasquale Tarquini of Williamsville and the son of Grace R. de la Plante of Williamsville and the late Walter S. de la Plante.
The bride, a graduate of Nardin Academy and Canisius College, has a master's degree in humanities/film and video production from University at Buffalo. She is assistant director of community relations and volunteer services at Schofield Residence and is a past president of Western New York American Women in Radio and Television. The bridegroom, a graduate of Amherst Central High School, attended Baker School of Fine Arts, Newport, R.I. He is owner of J.C. Hogarth de la Plante and Associates and is a board member of Central Referral Service.
