Services for Louis Francis Manze Jr., 59, a partner and vice president of the Elk Provision Co., will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in Calvary Heights Baptist Church, 981 Bowen Road, Elma. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna.

Manze died Thursday (Sept. 23, 1999) in Mercy Hospital after suffering a heart attack in his East Aurora home.

He was born in St. Louis, Mo., and came to Buffalo as a boy, He graduated magna cum laude from Canisius High School in 1958 and from Canisius College in 1962.

Manze had worked at Elk Provision Co., a wholesale and retail supplier of meats and provisions to restaurants, for 31 years. He was an active member of Calvary Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, the former Maureen Mary Mangone; three sons, Louis F. III of Springville, Edward N. of East Aurora and Thomas A. of Manassas, Va.; a sister, Barbara A. Bardo; and three grandchildren.
