Eyra G. "Ada" Chaplin, 69, of Ridge Road, who with her husband, Donald Chaplin, Sr., operated CFS Accounting and Tax Services for 31 years, died Friday (Sept. 24, 1999) in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, Amherst.
A native of Panama City, Panama, the former Eyra Cuellar was a mathematics professor at Florida State University in Tallahassee from 1955 to 1958 and formerly was an elementary school teacher in Panama.
She was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church, Newfane, and the auxiliary and band of Aerie 825, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Donald of Batavia; two daughters, Sandra Buckley of Worcester, Mass., and Vicky Sander of Lockport; a brother, Hugo Cuellar of Panama City; a sister, Tisla Cuellar of Panama City; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Bridget's Church, 3455 Ewings Road, Newfane, after prayers at 10:30 in the Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Ave., Newfane. Burial will be in Hartland Central Cemetery.
