Construction of a 62-unit town house development on Brigham Road can begin by the end of the year now that the Planning Board has approved the revised site plan.
Realty Resources Chartered of Rockport, Maine, will develop the housing, which is expected to be marketed to students of Fredonia State College.
The L-shaped design will have 212 bedrooms. A combination of two- and four-bedroom units will be constructed around a courtyard, according to William S. Hahn, vice president of the development company. A community center is also planned, he added.
Plans for a storm sewer must be referred to the Village Board of Trustees since an easement must be granted to install the line.
The building inspector's office said Thursday that the developer now has to apply for the necessary building permit.
