LOCKPORT MAN ACCUSED OF WRITING BAD CHECKS

Police arrested a Northview Drive man Thursday for allegedly buying a dog for $50 and a $1,252 load of concrete during the summer with bad checks, police said.

Jay G. Peck, 30, of with two counts of issuing a bad check after the check for the dog bounced. The check for the concrete from the Oak Orchard Concrete Co. of Medina was made out on Aug. 12 to a account which already had been closed, police said.
