Narcy A. Santangelo, a retired baker, died Monday (Sept. 20, 1999) in Medina Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.
Santangelo, 93, of East Lee Road, was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and moved to Rochester with his family as a child.
He attended schools in Rochester and worked as a baker for Wonder Bread in Rochester and in Buffalo. He retired to Albion.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, the former Frances Azzerone; a son, Donald, and a daughter, Geraldine Calder, both of Rochester; two brothers, Alexander of Rochester and Salvatore of Clermont, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
