A West Side man was apprehended on felony burglary charges late Saturday in connection with a break-in at a Niagara Street business, police said.
Joe Sanchez, 31, was charged with burglary, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, resisting arrest, possession of burglar's tools and petit larceny after the Waterfront Printing office at 325 Niagara St. was broken into at about 11 p.m.
Buffalo police said they saw Sanchez jump out of a second story window and flee down Niagara to Virginia Street, where he was apprehended. Police reported Sanchez was forcibly subdued and handcuffed.
A pair of pliers, wire cutters and a hypodermic needle were found on him, police said.
