A West Side man was apprehended on felony burglary charges late Saturday in connection with his alleged break-in at a Niagara Street business.
Joe Sanchez, 31, was charged with burglary, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, resisting arrest, possession of burglar's tools and petit larceny after he apparently broke into the Waterfront Printing office at 325 Niagara St. at about 11 p.m.
Buffalo police said they saw Sanchez jump out of a second story window and flee down Niagara to Virginia Street where he was apprehended. Police reported Sanchez was forcibly subdued and handcuffed. He was found to be in possession of a pair of pliers, wire cutters and a hypodermic needle, police said.
