including customers and staff -- reported losses when robbers struck an Amherst Street hair salon Saturday morning, according to Northwest District police reports.
Two men entered Hairtique, 520 Amherst St., and said they wanted a haircut, reports state. Then one of them pulled out a long-barrel revolver and said, "Give me the money."
A total of almost $1,000 was taken from a desk drawer, the purses of at least two customers and an employee, according to reports.
The two robbers were Asian -- possibly Vietnamese -- men, officers were told. One appeared between 30 and 40 years old and was approximately 5-foot-5 and 130 pounds. He wore jeans and a black and blue nylon jacket.
The other robber appeared in his twenties, approximately 5-foot-5 and 230 pounds. He wore a dark green nylon jacket.
