Edward A. Warszawski, 85, of Elliot Drive, who worked for 42 years in the molding department of Carborundum Co.'s Buffalo Avenue plant in Niagara Falls, died Friday (Sept. 17, 1999) in Odd Fellow & Rebekah Health Care Facility, Lockport, after a brief illness.
He was born in Niagara Falls and attended local schools. He retired from Carborundum in 1975.
Warszawski was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and its senior citizens and the Holy Trinity Senior Citizens.
He was also a member of Camp 211, Woodmen of the World.
Warszawski and his wife, the former Julia J. Krzystek, celebrated 62 years of marriage Sept. 3.
He enjoyed fishing, baseball and playing pinochle.
In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, James E. of Huntington Beach, Calif.; two daughters, Patricia A. of Phoenix and Kathleen W. Dreyfus of Medina; two brothers, Casimer of Niagara Falls and Richard of Youngstown; and four grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 24th and Niagara streets, Niagara Falls, after prayers at 9 in Zajac Funeral Home, 319 24th St., Niagara Falls. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
