Empire Financial Services named Merri Carol Hall of Hamburg its Account Executive of the Month for August. She works in the Orchard Park office. The company, headquartered in Williamsville, also promoted Dena Marvel to national processing administrator.

Tammy L. Woodhouse of Buffalo, activities director of the Episcopal Church Home & Affiliates' adult care facility, received national certification by the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals.
