Patricia Linde, 69, formerly of Grand Island, who was a longtime employee of Care Givers of Western New York, died Friday (Sept. 17, 1999) in her home on Boyd Road in Clarence while she was under the care of Buffalo Hospice.

The former Patricia Bauer was born in Wheeling, W.Va., and she moved to Grand Island in 1959. She lived there until moving to Clarence several years ago.

Mrs. Linde received the Health Care Aide of the Year Award in 1995 for her work at the Care Givers of Western New York, headquartered in the Town of Tonawanda.

She was familiarly known as "Mamier."

Survivors include a son, the Rev. Norman H. of the Town of Niagara; three daughters, Barbara J. Noon, Dana E. Craven and Margaret A. English, all of Clarence; 23 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Colonial Village Presbyterian Church, 4813 Kline Road, Town of Niagara.
