The bride is the daughter and stepdaughter of Judith and Louis Bergeron of Town of Tonawanda and Henry and Patricia Backes of Akron.
Parents of the bridegroom are Martin and Marie Brown of Buffalo.
A reception was given in Hearthstone Manor before the newly married couple left to take a cruise in the Caribbean.
A graduate of Mount St. Mary Academy and Bryant & Stratton, the bride is inventory and billing manager for Buffalo Merchandise-Distribution Center. The bridegroom, a machinist at Prototype Manufacturing Corp., is a graduate of Seneca Vocational High School.
A reception was given in University Inn after the wedding of Amy Beth Seefeldt and Leonard John Thornton at 5:30 p.m. Friday in Pendleton Center United Methodist Church. The Rev. Thomas M. Kraft performed the ceremony for the daughter of David W. Stevens of Lockport and daughter and stepdaughter of Patricia B. and Louis A. Perkins of Altamonte Springs, Fla., and the son of John D. and Katherine Thornton of Tonawanda and Port St. Lucie, Fla. After a trip to Tahiti, the couple will live in Newfane.
The bride is a graduate of Wilson Central High School and University at Buffalo, summa cum laude. She is employed by AirSep Corp. The bridegroom, a graduate of Kenmore East High School and Buffalo State College, has a master's degree from UB and is information technology manager for Gioia Management.
A reception was given in Samuel's Grande Manor after the wedding of Carmen Marie Generoso and Brian Christopher Suszynski at 6 p.m. Friday in the gazebo there. The Rev. Charles Pezzino of Creekside Gospel Temple performed the ceremony.
Kenneth P. and Kathy A. Generoso of West Seneca are parents of the bride, a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy and Fredonia State College. She is a programmer analyst for Medical Management Services Inc.
The bridegroom is the son of Joseph P. Suszynski of Los Angeles, Calif., and DeLynn Suszynski of West Seneca.
He is a graduate of St. Francis High School and Buffalo State College and is public information coordinator for Greater Buffalo Chapter of the American Red Cross.
The couple will be at home in Buffalo after traveling to Aruba.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret Elin Foss of Amherst and the late Robert R. Foss Sr. Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Toole of Town of Tonawanda are the bridegroom's parents. A reception was given in Samuel's Grande Manor. After traveling to Hilton Head, S.C., the couple will make their home in Town of Tonawanda.
Employed in facility assistance by Bell Atlantic, the bride is a graduate of Sweet Home High School and Erie Community College North Campus and attended Buffalo State College. The bridegroom, a graduate of St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute and University at Buffalo, is maintenance supervisor at American Axle & Manufacturing Inc.
