Judy Stillson Beckwith, 54, a practical nurse and a resident of the Jamestown area for 30 years, died Friday (Sept. 17, 1999) in WCA Hospital, where she worked, after an extended illness.
Born in Buffalo, she graduated from Holland Central High School in 1963 and from the Erie 2 Chautauqua-Cattaraugus BOCES School of Practical Nursing in 1988.
She had been a licensed practical nurse at WCA Hospital for 10 years until she retired due to ill health earlier this year.
Mrs. Beckwith was a member of the Falconer United Methodist Church and Ingjald Lodge 65 of the Independent Order of the Vikings. She also was an avid coin collector and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Russell C.; a daughter, Lori A. Watson of West Ellicott; her mother, Lucille Bellinger Stillson of West Seneca; two sisters, Debralynn Stillson of Machias and Cheryl Wachowski of Lancaster; a brother, Dennis Heitman of Ischua; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Lind Funeral Home, 805 West Third St.
