Defending champion Parker Bohn III still held the lead after three rounds of Oronamin C Japan Cup on Friday, but he saw it shrink from 300 pins to 96.

Bohn, trying to become the first three-time winner of the event that features players from the PBA Tour and the Japanese tour, had a pinfall of 6,005 after three rounds and was followed by Jason Couch, who is making his debut in the international event.

Norm Duke remained third with 5,805 pins. Buffalo's Tom Baker is 16th place with 5,440 pins.
