The vehicular bridge to Goat Island and the Robert Moses Parkway between Quay Street and the entrance to Prospect Park will be closed from 9:45 until about 11 a.m. Saturday to accommodate a Run for Health to
benefit the United Way.
The event is billed as a "fun run" for competitive runners, leisure runners and walkers. The 5K (3.10 mile) run will begin and end at the Top of the Falls restaurant on Goat Island.
The registration table there will open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, and the run will begin at 10 a.m. The registration fee on the day of the race is $18.
