Benefits of government deregulation of utilities will be the topic of a meeting of the Depew/Cheektowaga Taxpayers Association at 7:30 p.m. today in the Bellevue Fire Hall on Como Park Boulevard in Cheektowaga.
The program will center on information about new companies that have emerged since deregulation.
"We will have representatives from Iroquois Energy (Management) and National Fuel who will explain just how much you can save on your heating bills and how the companies transport gas purchased from other companies through National Fuel's pipelines," said homeowners association
President Jane Wiercioch.
"They will also be prepared to sign people up if they wish," she said.
The public is welcome.
