Flora C. Baldwin, 95, of Lewiston Road, who was a devoted member of St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, died Tuesday (Sept. 14, 1999) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness.

The former Flora McDougall was born in Flesherton, Ont., attended two years of high school and left home when she was 16 years old to move to Hamilton, Ont., to complete two years of a secretarial course.

In 1924 she moved to Niagara Falls.

Mrs. Baldwin worked for a few years as a secretary in Hamilton, Ont., before moving to Niagara Falls. She worked for several years as a secretary for the former Cole Insurance Co., in the former Gluck Building on Falls Street, and later became a U.S. citizen.

She was a member of the Ladies of Charity at her church and was devoted to her family and church.

Her husband, Floyd L., died in 1984.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Mangold of San Antonio, Texas, and Sally Guthrie of Wilson; nine grandchildren; a step-grandchild; nine great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at noon Thursday in St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, Macklem and College avenues. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston.
