Entertainment giant Walt Disney Co. will not allow Israel to depict Jerusalem as its capital in a millennium exhibit in Florida that has raised Arab anger, a prominent Palestinian lawmaker said Monday.

"There will be no reference or presentation at the exhibit that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel," legislator Hanan Ashrawi told Reuters.

She said she had been advised of Disney's position by Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Alsaud, a large shareholder in Paris-based Euro Disney, in which Walt Disney Co. is controlling shareholder.

Arabs and Muslims have been angered by reports that Israel would portray Jerusalem as its capital in a 15-month exhibit due to open in Disney's Epcot theme park in Florida next month to mark the new millennium.
