About 150 people are expected to attend a convention of the Charles E. Henry Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists Sept. 21-24, 2000, in the Clarion Hotel.
Stan Rydelek, president of the Niagara Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau, said the convention would add an estimated $50,000 to the local economy. "If you put five or 10 small convention groups together like this one, the economic impact is very substantial," Rydelek said.
He said the Convention Bureau expects about 7,000 delegates to be in Niagara Falls next month for eight different conventions or trade shows. "Booking these small groups is exactly what the Convention & Visitors Bureau has been accomplishing lately," Rydelek commented.
