Brett Favre, Packers, was 28 of 47 for 333 yards and four touchdowns in Green Bay's 28-24 victory over Oakland, including the game-winner to Jeff Thomason with 11 seconds left.

Steve McNair, Titans, completed 21 of 32 passes for 341 yards and three touchdowns in Tennessee's 36-35 victory over Cincinnati.

Kurt Warner, Rams, threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns in his first career start as St. Louis opened with a 27-10 victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

Stephen Davis, Redskins, rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Washington's 41-35 overtime loss to Dallas.
Kevin Dyson, caught nine passes for 162 yards and two touchdowns in Tennessee's 36-35 victory over Cincinnati.

Mike Hollis, Jaguars, kicked four field goals, three of them from 41 yards or longer, in Jacksonville's 41-3 victory over San Francisco.


Jake Plummer has led Arizona to 10 comeback wins in 26 games during his Cardinals career. . . . Brett Favre has thrown four touchdown passes in a game 14 times in his Green Bay career. . . . Chicago QBs Shane Matthews and Cade McNown combined for 307 yards passing to nine receivers in the Bears' 20-17 victory over Kansas City. . . . For the third time in Colts franchise history, Indianapolis had two receivers and a runner with more than 100 yards each. In a 31-14 victory over Buffalo, E.G. Green caught passes for 124 yards and Marvin Harrison for 121 yards. Edgerrin James ran for 112 yards.


Thanks to late-running games in the first half of Sunday's doubleheader, San Francisco and Jacksonville played the first quarter without a TV timeout. The quarter took 27 minutes.


Seattle linebacker Chad Brown had to leave the field in an ambulance with a neck injury. He was taken to Harborview Hospital in Seattle for X-rays, and the Seahawks said all neurological signs were positive.


Tennessee led, 26-7, and trailed, 35-26, before defeating Cincinnati, 36-35. . . . Minnesota won, 17-14, over the Atlanta Falcons despite its lowest-scoring game since Dec. 14, 1997, when the Vikings were beaten, 14-13, by Detroit. Minnesota scored at least 24 points in every game last season en route to an NFL-record 556 points. . . . Michael Irvin had two TD receptions for Dallas in its 41-35 overtime victory over Washington, one more than he had all season. . . . Atlanta kicker Morten Andersen missed two field goals from inside the 40 in the Falcons' loss to Minnesota. For his career, Andersen had 23 misses in 288 attempts inside the 40 going into the game.
