MAN ARRESTED IN SLASHING ATTACK

A Titus Avenue man accused of slashing a Walden Avenue man's face with a beer bottle Friday night on Goodyear Avenue was apprehended by Broadway Station police, authorities said.

Paul A. McCullen, 38, was charged with second-degree assault in the attack on Tyron M. Huggins, who required 20 stitches to close a wound on the left side of his face at Erie County Medical Center, according to Officers John Simonian and Daniel Redmond.
