Edward H. Donnelly, 80, of Snyder, a retired scheduler for Bell Aerospace, died Saturday (Sept. 11, 1999) in Niagara Geriatrics Center, Niagara Falls, after a short illness.

His identical twin, John P., a retired University at Buffalo sociology instructor, died last December.

Donnelly and his twin shared a home in Snyder, according to a cousin, Luigina "Gina" Ortenzi of Niagara Falls.

"Edward retired in 1965," she said. "He and his brother didn't socialize. They stayed home and watched TV or read. They never married."

Mrs. Ortenzi said Edward graduated from Hutchinson Technical Institute and attended Canisius College.

Edward and his twin were born in Lancaster and lived all of their lives in the Buffalo area.

A private burial service will be held Monday in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cheektowaga. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled in St. Teresa of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, College and Macklem avenues, Niagara Falls.
