After reading Jim Kelley's article regarding the NHL and its legal staff vs. Jeffrey Spring, I'd like to know why the NHL is coming down so hard on him.
It seems to me that Mr. Spring is wrong on one count of selling NHL products, but to take away his right to free speech is to my way of thinking a violation of his constitutional rights.
If the NHL is so right on all their allegations, why don't they just ignore the whole matter? If they do, don't they think the public and all the Sabre fans would too?
Please, would someone tell me what the NHL is trying to hide?
