A heavyset Hispanic or black woman in her 20s is being sought by the FBI in connection with a bank robbery Friday afternoon in Clarence.

The woman, described by FBI agents as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and about 175 pounds, walked into the Key Bank location at 4410 Transit Road in the Eastern Hills Mall Plaza at about 2:40 p.m. and passed a note to a teller demanding money.

FBI agents said no weapon was displayed. The woman got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injuries were reported.

The FBI reports that there are possible connections to this crime and a bank robbery that took place at about the same time Thursday in West Seneca.

There, a woman walked into an M&T Bank branch in the Southgate Plaza demanding money. On Thursday, a weapon was displayed.
