Margaret H. Cran, Ph.D., 59, of North Fort Myers, Fla., a former math teacher at Riverside High School, died Aug. 29, 1999, after suffering an apparent heart attack.
The former Margharet Robinson was born in Illinois and taught in Buffalo in the late 1970s and early 1980s before moving to Florida, where she was a mathematics professor at Edison Community College in Fort Myers.
She was an avid bridge player.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Robert; two daughters, Lynn Furst Bertrand of Seaford, Long Island, and Rebecca Furst Lennox of North Tonawanda; two sons, Jacob Furst of Chicago, and Matthew Furst of Chapel Hill, N.C.; and four grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Sept. 4 in Fort Myers.
