The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help in finding two men who allegedly tried to rob three people at gunpoint.
Officers said the two suspects in a white Corsica with a sunroof reportedly drove up to the people, who were walking on Park Street, just before 11 p.m. last Saturday. Deputies said the passenger in the automobile poked one of the people with the barrel of a gun.
The three were let go after they told the would-be robbers they had no money. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Officers add the get-away car has white primer on the fenders, and the left front hubcap and license plate were missing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Department. Deputies said all calls will be kept confidential.
