Gordon H. Amsdill, 76, who owned and operated a dairy and grain farm here for more than 40 years, died Tuesday (Sept. 7, 1999) in his home on Roosevelt Highway after a long illness.
He was born in Youngstown, attended Youngstown High School and was a member of the Lyndonville Fire Company.
Amsdill enjoyed playing cribbage.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, the former Cecelia Gozdowiak; three daughters, Ann Nice of Albion, and Catharine Beiersdorf and Joan E. Prahler; two sons, Gordon J. of Hilton, W.Va., and Chris L.; a brother, Wesley of Dexter, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Barnes-Tuttle Funeral Home, 112 N. Main St. Burial will be private.
