GARDEN NOTES

The Evans Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Angola Public Library. A twig basket workshop will be presented by Dorothy Julius of Lancaster. Member are asked to bring clippers, glue guns and twigs.

The Lackawanna Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tifft Nature Preserve where a two-hour nature walk is planned. Members should bring their own lunches. A general meeting will be held at 1 p.m.

The Garden Club of the Tonawandas will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Community Room of the Tonawanda Town Hall. John Farfaglia of the Niagara Cooperative Extension will speak on the new varities of gardens and containers.

The East Aurora Garden Club will meet at noon Monday in St. Matthias Episcopal Church. The program will be "Great Lakes Overview" and will be presented by Helen Domskey, assistant director of the Great Lakes Program.

The Holland Garden Club will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Brink Memorial Community Center, Legion Drive, Holland. Photographer and naturalist Lincoln Nutting will lecture on woodland spring flowers. On Thursday, the club will sponsor its annual Junior Harvest and Flower Show at the Brumsted Elementary School gym from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Ken-Sheriton Garden Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 576 Delaware Road, Kenmore, for a workshop on Ikebana-Japanese floral design. A business meeting will follow.
